Mazda’s 3-YEAR New Vehicle, 3-YEAR Roadside Assistance, 5-YEAR Powertrain, and 7-YEAR Anti-Perforation warranties all include unlimited mileage, and they apply to any new Mazda built after 2015. If you bought any new Mazda cars from 2014 or earlier, you would receive all the protection you signed up for on the original purchase date — nothing changes.

If you purchased an extended warranty, you’ll get even more covered than you would under the basic warranty. Things like tire road hazard, rental vehicles, and original equipment collision parts gap coverage round out this extra coverage.

Under the old warranty, you would have required a service adjustment after 12 months or 20,000 kilometres, whatever came first. Likewise, the Powertrain Warranty lasted for 60 months or 100,000 kilometres, whereas now it’s simply unlimited.

Safety technology is comprehensive because safety is everything for Mazda, but the vehicle itself needs to be in excellent health too!

CERTIFIED PRE-OWNED LIMITED WARRANTY

When you buy a used car from Mazda’s Certified Pre-Owned program, it comes automatically with a Limited Powertrain Warranty good for 140,000 kilometres or seven years from the original purchase date, whichever comes first.

For example, if you buy a 2017 Certified Pre-Owned vehicle in 2021, you’ll get three years of warranty coverage, provided the car hasn’t exceeded 140,000 kilometres.

You’ll love having automatic coverage for a used vehicle. Plus, if you’re on a road trip, it doesn’t matter if you’re driving in Canada or the US. So long as the part that needs repairs is covered under warranty, and you get it inspected at a Mazda body shop, you’ll be fine.
