What You Should Know About the 2020 Mazda CX-5

The Mazda CX-5 received several upgrades not so long ago and therefore did not need a touch-up this year. That being said, Mazda has nonetheless decided to enhance its offering in the compact SUV segment by making several improvements to the 2020 Mazda CX-5.
Known for its driveability and impressive efficiency, the 2020 Mazda CX-5 offers everything we love about the Mazda SUV with the added bonus of a more luxurious version and a new engine. Here are three things to know about the 2020 Mazda CX-5.
A High-End Signature Version
The 2020 Mazda CX-5 is offered in a Signature trim. As in the Mazda CX-9, the Signature version of the CX-5 is equipped with incredibly high-end and exclusive equipment that is not often found in other compact SUVs.
The Mazda CX-5 Signature offers, among other things: premium materials, such as cocoa-brown nappa leather and carefully selected abachi wood trim. The 2020 CX-5 has other features that enhance the comfort, convenience, and safety of the vehicle, including Apple CarPlay and Android Auto systems, a 7.0-TFT configurable dashboard, heated and ventilated front seats, heated rear seats, a heated steering wheel, premium 10-speaker BOSE audio system, Active Driving Display active driving settings windshield projection system, power-folding exterior mirrors, a frameless interior mirror with auto-dimming, and Mazda's Homelink wireless remote control system.
A Powerful Engine
In addition to its upgraded equipment, the Mazda CX-5 Signature also offers an all-new 2.5-litre SKYACTIV-2.5T turbocharged engine with direct injection. This same engine is also found in the Mazda CX-9 where it develops 250 horsepower. The 2020 Mazda CX-5 is also available with the traditional 2.0-litre and 2.5-litre SKYACTIV-G engines.
